Heading 1: How to do X

The bulk of your post will focus on how to what your subject focuses on. You want to illustrate these points as best as you can. Give AND show with examples. Video and images work well in these type of posts.

Make sure to explain how YOU know the subject matter.

Heading 2: What is it and why does this “how to” matter?

Some people might be new to your post, so you want to explain WHY they should even be reading or researching about this in the first place. You can also include stats!

Add in an image to help share more about your subject. It also helps to break up the text!

Share more on the background of what you’re writing about and why this is important or of interest to you or your intended reader.

Sub heading 1: Terms to Know

List out and define a few of the key terms relating to your topic, especially if they’re mentioned elsewhere in the post. Feel free to link to outside articles that support your points.

Sub heading 2: Step by step

Proof points are super helpful for readers. Giving examples or social proof helps them want to continue to read the post. Many people only read a blog post for 37 seconds!! We need to capture and KEEP their attention.

How to Accomplish Your Post Subject

Lay it out, step-by-step how someone else can achieve what you’ve laid out. Do they need any resources? Tools? Should they write anything down?

Share images that help share more about what they might “need.”

Heading 3:  Tips and Reminders for Your Post Subject

When breaking down a difficult concept or task, some readers may still feel overwhelmed and unsure of their ability to understand it.

A checklist works well here!

Closing

Wrap up your “how to” blog post with a great ending paragraph. Share what they should have learned from the post and reflect on points from above! Provide actionable tips of what they should do next.

Link to other posts of yours that are related! INTERNAL LINKING is so important to help grow your blog!

Call-to-Action

Last but not least, place a call-to-action at the bottom of your blog post. This should be a freebie or incentive linked to your email list, I recommend using Convertkit for this. Remember, the ebook shows you how!
